Afternoon Tea for Sinead's 30th

A few weeks ago we brought Sinead to Lyrath (where I work) for her 30th Birthday. We were on a 30 min Treatment and Afternoon Tea package. I have to say that the team went above and beyond  to make it a special day for her. We started with our Afternoon tea in the White room which is at the end of the lobby. We had the most incredible selection of sandwiches and mini deserts, the lemon meringues are to die for! 

We worked our way through a few bottles of Valdo, it is a must especially for such a special occasion.

After we had eaten our weight in confectionery we headed down to Tuppers Bar for some 5 star cocktails, delicious! 

The spa treatments were amazing. Amy was my therapist and gives the best Back, Neck & Shoulder. We literally floated out. But the absolute best part had to be the Hydro pool. In my 5 years working there that was my first time to use it. It was pure heaven. 

For a perfect girly day out it is a must. Lovely haven barely a 10 minute drive from Kilkenny City. And I'm not just saying that because I work here.

A debut, of sorts...

I tried this whole blogging thing about 4/5 years ago as part of my College course and it kind of fell on its arse.... I have a renewed interest this time around. Allow me to elaborate.... I currently work in a Hotel, for about 5 years now, as a Front Desk Agent. A Receptionist basically. I love my job. I both equally love and hate people but I think the balance is healthy. I've always loved makeup and beauty, for as long as I can remember. I recently took a leap of faith and signed myself up for a Makeup course with a local (Amazing!!!) MUA. Basically what I want to do with this blog is kick off a Beauty Blog of my own, but with a difference... I LOVE makeup and glamour, but I also LOVE Horror and gore. This will hopefully incorporate all types of beauty. I'll do the usually reviews, quips and very long, seemingly endless black holes of rants about what ever comes into my pretty little head.
